Family: Mum Jane age 51, Dad Andrew age 49, Lily 13, Eloise 11 

Old Man - John Watson aged 72, Moving in with daughter Julie.

SCENE 1

(Pauline is sat her front room, re writing her list of things to do before moving away to travel the world.She is talking to herself.)

Pauline: Second set of inoculations due Friday, house sale goes through at the end of the month and removal men coming in next week to look around… Oh crap, the boiled eggs!

(Pauline hurrys off into the kitchen)

SCENE 2

(Andrew and Eloise are sat in the car, waiting for their sister to finish her drama lesson. The pair are talking.)

Eloise: Do not even suggest I spy on her, I am not even in the same building as her at school.

Andrew: I am not suggesting that....not for one second.

Eloise: What do you want me to do then?! I can’t just follow her around the whole day can i? 

Andrew:  I just need to see what your sister is up too, yours mother and I are very consden and we thought you were the closest one to her at the moment you could help..?

Eloise: Stop talking, Lills will be out any second. We will finish this convo tomorrow!

(Lily comes out of the drama lesson and into the car)

Andrew: Evening darling, how was your lesson?

(Lily doesn't respond, just continues texting on her phone)

Andrew: How about school? Anything exciting happen?

(Lily continues to ignore her father)

Eloise: Dad, just drive, she's probably just tired! )

SCENE 3

(Audience see John is unpacking boxes in his kitchen, which have just been packed by Jane, his daughter. It a cold and gloomy day and Radio 4 is on in the background.)

SCENE 4 

(Pauline outside trying to sort her front garden out, ready for the estate agent comes round the take pictures.)

(The estate agent arrives.)

Estate Agent: Morning Mrs Rogers, doing the fishing touches are we?

Pauline: Yes,

Pauline laughs with the Estate Agent

Estate Agent: Shall we start then? The sooner we get this done and the sooner we can get this wonderful house on the market!

 (The pair go into the house)

(Takes pictures of the house and then leaves to go the two doors down, Number 3, Mr Watons house)

SCENE 5

(The local Estate Agent is round 3 Holmcroft Gardens, visiting John who is refusing to cooperate.)

Estate Agent: So Mr Watson, If you want this house sold by the end of the month, the only way is to work with me now.

John: Who said I wanted to move?

Estate Agent: Mr Watson, we have been through many times now, Ive been assigned to get this house sold for you.

John: I don't want or your help

Estate Agent: I understand that Mr Watson, but I am only trying to help you and your family.

John: She's got on it on RightMove anyway.

Estate Agent: Erm. I’ll just pretend I didn't hear that.

ANDREW & ELOISE CONTUNE THEIR TALK ABOUT THIER SISTER

(John is on phone to Sky, demanding to restatement his package after it was cut off.)

Sky Recorded Answer phone: Please say your name and account number after the tone. Our lines are currently busy working hard answering customer calls, one of our team with be with you shortly.

Cheesy muzak plays continuously for 5 minutes and the phrase is repeated " Please say your name and account number after the tone. Our lines are currently busy working hard answering customer calls, one of our team with be with you shortly."

Sky Rep: Hello, Darren speaking, How can i help?

John: About time!

Sky Rep: Sorry Mr Wakeson, I didn't know catch that, How can i help you today?

John: My name is Watson!!! Stupid company!

Sky Rep: If you wish to make a complaint I can send you over to the Complaints Department if you wish.

John: No just give me my Sky package back!

Sky Rep: I am sorry to hear you are distressed about your Sky packet, Please sure confirm your name and account number.

 John: Mr John Waston, 48869g0p2.

Sky Rep: Okay Sir, I'll just check on the stytem to see is way this problems.
